  The Cosmopolitan Hotel and Bungalows resort was erected in 1987 just 100 m from the seafront were there is a sandy-shingle beach, for relaxation or water sports if you feel active. This modern Hotel is set on a beautiful hillside in landscaped gardens with a breathtaking panoramic view of Trianta Bay.
  Cosmopolitan Hotel is ideally situated for local amenities, only a 5 minute walk to local shops restaurants and bars and a 2 minute walk by underground tunnel from the shingle beach. The Cosmopolitan will appeal to guests seeking both self contained and activity-based holidays. There is plenty of variety on offer here, relax by the pool and enjoy the lively entertainment programme run by the hotel or go to the beach. Its quality and traditional warm Greek hospitality has brought many re-comers back to this Hotel.
  The 380 rooms, suites and bungalows offer a unique heaven of comfort and excellence. The guest room feature spacious living areas with luxurious and modern features. All rooms have large balconies or terraces with a beautiful view of the bay of Ixia or at a lovely outdoor swimming pool section surrounded with a colourful garden.

Hotel facilities
Friendly reception operating 24 hours, fresh water swimming pool with paddling pool section, sun terrace with parasols and sun beds free of charge, snack bar and pool side bar, main bar and lounge with sat-TV, main restaurant, mini market, children's playground and supervised children's club 4-12 years of age, games room, billiard table, table tennis, tennis court (equipment can be rent locally), car rental facilities and jewellery shop, Occasional night-live entertainment with day activities. Two modern Business Centers for conventions and balls (capacious at 180 persons/250 persons) are also available.

Room facilities
Twin bedded and triple rooms in the two main buildings, and bungalows surrounding the pool and the beautiful garden that can accommodate up to four persons. All units have balconies or terrace, private bath, 3-channel radio, direct dial telephone, Sat-TV, mini-fridge, and air-conditioning (July and August limited times). Rooms in buildings: 303, bungalows: 68 with sea view, land or garden view.

Dining options
The Posseidon Pool Bar with its refreshing cocktails and hotel Snack Bar also are part of the pool. Dinning is no exception. Savour international cuisine and Greek specialities, which are served at hotels Main Restaurant. In the evening as a final guest's can enjoy our luxurious intimate smartly decorated cocktail Main Bar next to an elegant lounge and hotel main lobby.

Sports and Leisure
An animation team operates within the Hotel from mid-May until mid-September. Occasional night, live entertainment is available. There are also other activities available within the Hotel such as tennis court, table tennis, snooker, equipment to be paid for locally, games room and massages available (on request from reception). In the hotel you can find a large freshwater swimming pool set in relaxing landscaped gardens; free sun loungers and parasols are situated all around the pool area and gardens. Just for children the hotel has separate children's pool, play area, kids club (4-12 years) and free cots & highchairs.

Distances
The Cosmopolitan Hotel is located 12 km from Rhodes airport in the luxurious resort of Ixia. Just a 50m walk to the nearest sand and shingle beach, which offers a large selection of different types of water sports. Rhodes old and new town with its history, night life and bargain shopping is only 3km away, with a regular local bus service very close to the Hotel.
