The magnificent Kalimera Kriti Hotel & Village Resort has been established directly on the sea shore. The former fishermen's village of Sissi has remained untouched by tourism for a long time. Around the small village center and the picturesque little port you will find shops, taverns, kafenions (the traditional Greek coffeehouse) and only some small hotels.
The hotel offers 415 rooms, including 141 suites and 40 waterfront bungalows. The superb design of the spacious Main Building is inspired by the architecture of the Minoan palaces, incorporating neoclassic elements. It features a vast, elegant reception area and a number of public areas such as bars, lounges, a bridge room and TV-room, and several conference rooms.
Three stylishly decorated restaurants, with spacious outside terraces and non-smoking zone, as well as a piano bar, are awaiting the guests with excellent service and a large variety in Greek and international cuisine.
Centered on a small square are the hotel's Tavern, Cafeteria and the Shopping Arcade. The shops include a boutique, souvenir and jewelry shop, a mini-market, leather and fur shop, and a shop specialized in Greek and Cretan products.
The three villages are harmoniously spread out in the landscape. Their bungalows are built along the lines of traditional Cretan Architecture. Only the most precious of materials have been used; multicolored Greek marble, carved hard stone and above all love and respect for an environment of unbelievable beauty.

Location
At a distance of about 7 km, the archaeological site of Malia, with its remainders of the Palace of Malia, is a well-known and popular excursion destination.
Located at about 10 km, the city of Malia offers a small old town center, shops, restaurants and an animated nightlife. At a distance of about 35 min from the airport (42 km) and at 900m from the village of Sissi.

Hotel facilities
Next to the natural cave is the typical Greek Kafenion, and on the beach a snack bar is at the guests' disposal. Two fresh water swimming pools, one with Olympic dimensions, and a heated indoor pool, Children's playground, The 300 m long sandy beach is protected by a mole. At the beach and the pools, deck chairs, sunshades and towels are available free of charge.

Room types and facilities
The Double Rooms, which are either garden or sea view, are housed in the 2- or 3-storeyed Main Building, and in the Bungalow areas. They are tastefully furnished, breathing an atmosphere of relaxed elegance. They offer a bathroom/WC (with hairdryer), direct-dial telephone, safe (free of charge), music, satellite TV, mini-bar, air conditioning (centrally operated in the Main Building, individually adjustable in Bungalows), furnished balcony or terrace.

The Bungalows Water Front are furnished and equipped in the same way as the Double Rooms, and are located directly at the waterfront.
The Family Suites either in the Hotel or in the Bungalow area consist of a bedroom (with air conditioning) and a living room with sleeping facilities, separated by doors, with a small hall and a bathroom.
For your convenience, the Suites offer their heightened luxury and comfort. They consist of 1 double bedroom, a living room and a bathroom. All Suites have sea view.

Sports and Leisure
6 tennis courts (hard), 2 squash courts, a mountain-bike station inside the hotel premises, and facilities for table tennis, beach volley, mini golf. A large variety of water sports and instruction possibilities comprising water-skiing, surfing, diving, parasailing, jet ski, pedal boat, canoe, banana boat and tubes. All sports facilities and instruction, except table tennis and beach volley, are against a charge. Tennis and squash are one hour per day free of charge.
Animation: Day and evening animation activities; Video and electronic games and billiards are at a charge. Several times a week special evenings are organized with live music or disco-night in the natural cave, or Greek folklore programs.
Children: Daily morning and afternoon programs for children of 4 years and older, Special program for adolescents during High Season, Mini-club area with children's playground, two children pools and a baby-pool, Children's menu, Baby sitting on request, at a charge.

Dining facilities
Breakfast comprises a rich American buffet. Dinner offers a large variety of starters, salads and deserts from buffet. The main course (choice of 3 menus, one vegetarian) is being served. Guests who wish to eat a la carte in the Tavern instead of taking their pension meal will be given a price reduction on their bill. Diet cooking on request, Weekly Fish Evening, Barbecue or Cretan Evening against a supplement. At dinner, appropriate dress is required.

Conference facilities
The Kalimera Kriti Hotel enjoys a reputation of professionalism in the organization of conferences, seminars and incentives. It provides an ideal setting for top-level conferences, offering 9 luxurious meeting rooms with a capacity of 10 to 500 persons. All rooms are outfitted with the most up-to-date audio-visual equipment.
The grand "Europa" Auditorium, unique in Greece, has a capacity of 450 persons. Fully air-conditioned, it features the latest conference technology, including simultaneous translation facilities in 4 languages, fixed podium and seating, one microphone per two seats and state of the art sound and lighting systems. The "Athena" conference hall has a maximum capacity of 450 persons, adaptable according to requirements. Its foyer can also be used as an Exhibition Hall or as an Art Gallery.
