The admirable Sunlight Hotel is peacefully settled up on the headland between the popular resorts of Agios Nikolaos and Elounda, in Eastern Crete. The sympathetic Sunlight Hotel is a small family-run hotel. The position of the hotel offers spectacular views of the Gulf of Mirabello and the town of Aghios Nikolaos.
The bus to Agios Nikolaos and Elounda stops close by, although car hire would be useful.
The sunrise is awesome, if you're up that early!! Just a few minutes walk down the beach and you have a really good variety of restaurants and tavernas in town.

Location
Sunlight is located between two of the most popular resorts in Eastern Crete: the town of Aghios Nikolaos and the village of Elounda. The nearest airport is at Heraklion, which is about 65 km (40 miles, 50 min) to the west.

Room facilities
The hotel offers 27 twin or double-bedded rooms and three bedded rooms, all with air conditioning and large verandas overlooking the gulf. The last ones are available on request. All of them are very clean and comfortable with en suite bathrooms.

There is also a swimming pool and a poolside snack-bar as well as an indoor bar and reception.

Nearby attractions
In both Agios Nikolaos and Elounda a visitor can find several beaches to fit all tastes as well as traditional small tavernas, restaurants, cafes and bars. The most popular spot in Agios Nikolaos is the "bottomless lake" right in the Heart of the town and in Elounda is worth to visit the island of Spinalonga and find out about its history.
